Just for Kids
Welcome to the exciting world of Children’s Ministry at Woodland Shores where kids discover, develop, and experience faith in Christ. More than 75% of first-time decisions for Christ come before age 14 and we want to do all we can to partner with moms and dads to introduce their children to Jesus in a personal way and become life-long followers of Christ. A dedicated staff of teachers and helpers work unselfishly to model and teach the love of Christ, seeking changed hearts and minds. Lori Volstorf is our Next Generation Director, and you may reach her at lori@wsbchurch.com.
CLUB 56
This “club” is a preteen ministry for 5th and 6th grade students with age-appropriate curriculum and fun activities. Club 56 has their own class on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am. They also have special planned events.
GOD’S KIDS
This is our Sunday morning program led by qualified volunteers who use Lifeway's "The Gospel Project" which is a chronological study showing God's plan of redemption in all of Scripture from Genesis through Revelation.
AWANA
AWANA stands for "approved workmen are not ashamed" and is our mid-week kids ministry. During the school year on Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 pm, kids from Age 3-Grade 6 meet for Bible memorization and games.
Open House/Registration Night
September 6 - 7:00-8:00 pm. Come see what it's all about!
SPECIAL-NEEDS
We can provide a trained “Buddy” to accompany your special-needs child for “God’s Kids.”
SAFETY
All children's workers have had background checks and participate annually in a certification class (which reviews our thorough Child Protection Policy).

H.I.S. – HIGH IMPACT STUDENT MINISTRY
(MIDDLE SCHOOL – HIGH SCHOOL)
Students in grades 7-12 gather for Bible Study, age-based small group discussion, crazy-fun games and activities that students can invite their friends to, community service projects, and more! Gatherings are scheduled each Sunday morning, most Sunday evenings, and throughout the month.
Student activities are designed so that every student makes a personal confession of Christ as Savior and becomes a passionate follower of Christ. Students face many challenges today: tough questions, strong pressures, and need a safe place to find strength, support, friends, and fun. Get started at weekly gatherings on Sunday mornings & most Sunday evenings, and throughout the month.
