REGISTRATION DATE for Youth Winter Retreat (7th-12th Grade)

WHAT:           2020 Winter Retreat 

WHERE:          Grace Adventures (2100 N. Ridge Rd. - Silver Lake, MI 49436)

 WHEN:           January 3-5, 2020

 WHO:              7th-12th grade Students

 COST:             $125/person

Your students are invited to join us for a weekend winter retreat Friday, January 3 – Sunday, January 5, 2020.  Details on the exact time of departure on Friday and return on Sunday will be provided later.  For now, we need to know who is interested in attending so we can book the right number of rooms!

The cost for this trip, which includes transportation, food, and all activities for the weekend is $125/person. 

To hold your spot on the trip, we are asking for a $25 non-refundable deposit due by Sunday, September 22, 2019. I will only register you for the trip if I have received a deposit from you by that date.

We need lots of donations of individually pre-wrapped candy. Donations can be placed on the table in the Fellowship Hall.

Support our WSBC youth by dropping off your gently used items at the garage to sell and coming to shop for new treasures.

Drop-off dates:    
Tuesday-Thursday, September 3-5 – 6:00-8:00 pm

Garage Sale:       
Friday, September 13 – 9:00 am-5:00 pm                 
Saturday, September 14 – 9:00 am-2:00 pm

Please note that we are not able to accept TVs, computer monitors, Christmas trees, car seats, or cribs. Any donated electronics need to be in working order.

YOUTH PAINTBALL/END-OF-SUMMER BASH

On August 25, for our End-of-Summer Bash, we will meet at Pete Christopher's (5419 Browntown Rd., Sawyer) for Paintball, games, snacks, dinner, a campfire, and s'mores! 

 This will be from 2:30-8:30 pm.  The paintball schedule will be the same as usual:
    2:30-5:00 pm             5th-8th Grade paintball
    5:00-6:00 pm             Dinner for everyone
    6:00-8:30 pm             9th-12th Grade paintball 

 However, EVERYONE is invited to come the entire time. While you are not paintballing, we will have additional yard games and snacks and fellowship.  Feel free to bring along your own games as well, if you have a favorite! 

 Also, there is NO CHARGE for this one, as this is serving as our End-of-Summer Bash!

This epic African adventure engages the whole herd. At Roar, kids explore God’s goodness and celebrate a ferocious faith that powers them through this wild life.

Registration is now open for ages 4 years-5th grade graduates. Many volunteers are also needed.

Join with other local youth groups at Harbert Community Church on Thursday (6:30-8:30 pm) to kick off the weekend. Come back on Friday morning (8:30 am) to work on service projects in area communities and spend the night. More service projects on Saturday and end in the afternoon. Cost is $10.
